Mechanical Pit Levelers

Mechanical Pit Levelers are built right into the dock and can handle large volumes of traffic, as well as high capacity requirements. The mechanical type is less expensive and easier to install but does require periodic maintenance.

Features

• Solid steel “C” channel deck support provides greater resistance to elastic bending moments
• Positive adjustable hold-down device allows up and down float when in service
• High strength, 55,000 lbs. minimum yield steel deck and lip ensure long lasting unit
• Operation range of 12” above or below dock level

Sizes

• Standard widths range from 6’ to 7”
• Standard lengths range from 6’ to 10’
• Capacity ranges from 25,000 lbs. to 60,000 lbs
