Handle-It 1100 AA-C
The 1100 AA-C is a top-of-the-line automatic pallet wrapper that allows forklift drivers to remain in their seats and utilize the included remote control to start and stop a pallet wrap cycle. This translates to increased efficiency and decreased labor required to wrap pallets.
The model 1100 AA-C will have your facility wrapping up to 300 pallets per day. It comes standard with the following features:
- 250% film pre-stretch (optional 600% stretch available)
- Full feature wrap cycle parameters
- 4,400lb maximum load weight capacity
- Auto film attach, hot weld film seal, and auto film cut
- 6 working cycles: ascent/descent, top sheet, only ascent, only descent, layers, and stack.

You can easily adjust many parameters on the Model 1100 AA-C, such as bottom wraps, starting wrap height, top wraps, film tension, carriage descent, and ascent speeds. You’ll also be able to store 32 end-user programs to increase productivity further.
Several key differences set the Model 1100 AA-C apart from the competition. The rack-and-pinion carriage drive system increases reliability and decrease downtime. Heavy-duty carriage rollers and self-lubricating turntable bearings translate to years of trouble-free service.
The Cousins LP-SWA A-ARM only has a 1/2hp turntable drive motor while the Handle It Model 1100 AA-C comes standard with a 3/4 horsepower TEFC turntable drive motor.
The Model 1100 AA-C comes standard with a roped bare tail treatment, while the A-ARM model only offers it as an add-on feature.
Cousins A-ARM
The Cousins LP-SWA A-ARM automatic pallet wrapper can wrap around 35 loads per hour (depending on several factors such as load size, number of wraps, and forklift operator skill). It offers a 33% to 313% fixed stretch capability, side-mounted film carriage, and ANSI # 50 direct chain drive c/w chain tensioner.
The treatment of the tail end of the shrink wrap can help add several extra layers of security.
- It can be slow and cumbersome in comparison
- It’s best suited to wrap uniform pallets
- The extruding arm may be more susceptible to running into it. If the arm is damaged, the machine is not useable.
- It does not heat seal the film to the pallet (the Handle It 1100 AA-C does)
