Start off with a 2-3 top and bottom rotation cycle coupled with a film tension of around 50% for regular pallet loads.
Try less tension and slower speeds first, then work your way up. This will help optimize load containment and cycle times.
Try lowering rotation speed and film tension if your load has sharp edges. Alternatively, consider a more puncture-resistant and thicker film.
Increase the “flanging” or overwrap delay for outlier products at the top or empty spaces and voids. You can also use more top rotations to ensure the film band is high enough to reach the top layer. The fixed height setting on the Model 1100 can help as well.
